- Accumulator
- A bet that combines multiple selections into one wager; all selections must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to teams to level the playing field, eliminating the draw option and offering adjusted odds.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting; managing it helps avoid excessive losses.
- Bet Builder
- A feature allowing you to combine different markets from a single match into one custom bet.
- Cash Out
- An option to settle a bet before the event ends, either securing a profit or minimizing a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (e.g., home win or draw) in a match.
- Each Way
- A two-part bet where you back a selection to win and also to place (usually top 3), with each part receiving a fraction of the odds.
- Free Bet
- A promotional token credited by the sportsbook that can be used to place a bet without using your own funds.
- Handicap
- A numerical advantage or disadvantage applied to a team to create balanced betting odds.
- In-Play
- Bets placed after an event has started, with odds that update in real time as the game progresses.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer; the process of verifying a bettor's identity to comply with legal and responsible gambling standards.
- Lay
- To bet against a particular outcome; in betting exchanges, you act as the bookmaker.
- Match Betting
- Placing a bet on the specific result of a match, such as a win for one team.
- Odds
- The probability of an outcome expressed as a number, determining how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic (e.g., total goals) will be above or below a set value.
- Parlay
- Another term for an accumulator; a single bet linking multiple selections, with higher potential payouts.
- Price Boost
- A promotional increase of odds for a selected outcome, offered to attract bets.
- Reload Bonus
- A bonus credited when you add funds to your account, usually a percentage of the deposit.
- ROI
- Return on Investment; a measure of profitability expressed as a percentage of the amount wagered.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Terms and Conditions
- The rules and requirements that govern promotions, bonuses, and betting activities; always read them.
- Underdog
- The team or player expected to lose, often offering higher odds and potential larger payouts.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, indicating a positive expected value.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is canceled and the stake is returned, usually due to a match being postponed or a rule violation.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus amount before withdrawing any winnings derived from it.
